In addition to having 14 carries for 47 rushing yards and a touchdown in Week 3, Swift had seven receptions for 60 yards.
After watching Swift run wild against the Ravens, the fans in Detroit went on social media to state that he’s not being used nearly enough in head coach Dan Campbell’s offense. Well, that’s going to change starting this Sunday.
During this Wednesday’s press conference, Campbell revealed that Swift will have a bigger role on offense moving forward.
“I certainly think you’re going to see a lot more Swift and he could very easily be out there first play” Campbell said, via the Detroit Free Press. “He’s done enough to earn that if that’s what you’re asking, for sure.”

Over the past three games, D’Andre Swift has been sharing carries with Jamaal Williams, who signed a two-year contract with the Lions this past offseason.
The Lions are still going to use Williams since he’s a versatile tailback, but Swift needs a larger workload when he’s playing as well as he did in Week 3.
Despite their 0-3 record, the Lions have been very competitive this season. We’ll see if they can earn their first win of the year on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
