Dan Quinn and Jayden Daniels speak to the media at today’s practice
Dan Quinn spoke to reporters before the seventh day of training camp practices. The focus today was on red zone and two-minute drills. Quinn talked about second-year players and mentioned Mike Sainristil, Brandon Coleman, Javontae Jean-Baptiste, and Jordan Magee. Sainristil got praise for his training camp so far, and the leadership he has shown during his second offseason with the team.
Undrafted free agent OL Tim McKay was activated from the active/physically unable to perform list. He was projected to be a mid-round pick before tearing his pec at his pro day. This announcement follows Nate Herbig’s surprise retirement. Herbig was signed during the offseason to be a backup, but missed last season due to injury and is now out of the league.
