Katherine Webb went from a relative unknown to a household name overnight in 2013.
The Auburn graduate was in the stands of the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, supporting her future husband, Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron. ABC’s cameras spotted Webb in the crowd, announcer Brent Musburger made a viral comment and the rest is history.
Several cool opportunities have come as a result of Webb’s overnight fame, including the opportunity to pose for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Webb, who married AJ McCarron in 2014, had a football-themed photoshoot with the iconic magazine edition.

Webb’s following on social media has continued to grow, too. She has more than 250,000 followers on Instagram.
The McCarrons had some tough news as of late, as AJ is set to miss the 2021 season with an injury. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons earlier this offseason and looked good in training camp.
The 2021 NFL regular season is set to begin in early September.
