The 2024 NFL draft is now in the rearview mirror. The Washington Commanders finished the draft on Saturday with the addition of seventh-round pick Javontae Jean-Baptiste. The Commanders immediately went to work, adding 11 undrafted free agents to the rookie class.
On Monday, Washington made it official by announcing the signings of those 11 rookie free agents. In the draft, the Commanders selected nine players through seven rounds—all nine played a different position. Washington’s free-agent signings followed a similar approach.
The Commanders were aggressive with several of their signings, including cornerback Chigozie Anusiem and quarterback Sam Hartman.
