Jayden Daniels speaks to the media after being selected by the Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders got their guy. New GM Adam Peters selected LSU QB Jayden Daniels with the #2 overall pick in tonight’s draft. He was the second QB off the board, and one of six to go in the top half of the first round. Daniels said this was his childhood dream, and he’s ready to come to Washington to compete, lead, and win at all costs. Daniels won the Heisman Trophy in his final college season, and hopes to bring that same level of play to the NFL.
