Next weekend’s match-up between the Arizona Cardinals and the Cleveland Browns will feature two of the top teams in the NFL this season. With two explosive offenses, the game is shaping up to be a shootout and will be one to watch come Sunday.
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury is already busy at work, trying to figure out what it will take to keep his team as the lone undefeated club in the NFL. Arizona barely scraped by a short-handed 49ers team this past week to improve to 5-0, but will now have to turn right around and go back on the road for a difficult match-up in Cleveland.
Next Sunday’s meeting with the Browns will be one of the toughest tests for Kingsbury so far this season. Cleveland ranks sixth in points scored per game and also boasted one of the stingiest defenses in the NFL before allowing 47 points to the Chargers this past weekend.
Kingsbury recognizes how difficult the game will be for his Cardinals and specifically pointed at the Browns’ offense as an area that he’s focusing on this week in practice.
“The Browns are loaded,” Kingsbury said, via the team’s website. “They’re as talented as roster you’ll find in the NFL. Kevin Stefanski is an incredible offensive mind. He’s a guy like Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay that does a tremendous job with the quarterbacks — building great weapons around them. Baker Mayfield is playing at a really high level and it will be a huge challenge for us.”

Both the Cardinals and the Browns have some major injury issues in their secondaries, which will make for an interesting wrinkle in Sunday’s game. With Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield playing at a high level, each club’s passing attack could be in for a big day.
The Cardinals and the Browns will meet in Cleveland on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET.
