Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Lakers traded Kyle Kuzma and several others in return for Russell Westbrook.
After several weeks of rumors involving Kuzma, the Lakers traded he, Kentavius Caldwell-Popoe, Montrezl Harrell and the draft rights to Isaiah Jackson to the Washington Wizards to acquire the former MVP. However, Kuzma thought he was being traded somewhere else.
Shortly before the Lakers and Wizards trade, the Lakers reportedly had an agreement with the Sacramento Kings. Kuzma and others would be traded to the Kings for Buddy Hield.
Kuzma himself thought it was a “done deal” that he would be leaving the Lakers to join the Kings in a trade.
Check it out.

Washington might not be Kuzma’s final stop this season. According to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, the Minnesota Timberwolves have “maintained strong interest” in Kuzma.
The former Laker took a step forward last season and could be a quality depth piece for a new team. Kuzma scored 12.9 points per game last season to go along with 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
Where will Kuzma land next?
