Look: Jake Paul Has A Blunt Message For Conor McGregor

Controversial or not, Jake Paul’s split-decision victory over Tyron Woodley Sunday night has both the boxing and MMA world on notice.

Paul is now 4-0 in his professional boxing career with wins over Woodley, Ali Eson Gib, Nate Robinson and Ben Askren. Next up on his fight card? It’s unclear at the moment, but Paul would love nothing more than to square off with Conor McGregor.

During the Paul-Woodley bout Sunday night, McGregor posted a one-word tweet which read: “Salivating.” Some speculated the UFC superstar was referring to the Paul-Woodley fight.

But he later posted a video of his dinner, potentially shutting down the possibility McGregor was referring to Paul’s fight.

Regardless, the former YouTube star couldn’t help but call out McGregor following his victory over Woodley on Sunday. He clearly wants to take on the challenge.

“We’re on the path to a lot bigger fights, I’m salivating too because I’m just getting warmed up,” Paul said, via MMA Junkie. “Conor McGregor has a lot more to focus on besides me right now.

“I’m five wins in a row, he’s 1-3 in the past four years. So the guy needs to get off his vodka or whatever his brand is, sober up and start to get back in the gym and then we can f—king fight.

“To be honest, no way he hits harder than Woodley. He doesn’t weigh as much as Woodley. He’s shorter than Woodley. I’ve said it before the fight, I think Woodley is a harder fight than him, especially the way he’s going. Conor is going down, I’m going up. Woodley came in game, we’ll see.”

A Logan Paul-Conor McGregor fight feels inevitable at this point. It’d probably garner one of the biggest audiences in the history of fighting.

What do you think? Should McGregor take on Paul in the ring?
