If there’s one thing you can always count on, it’s Jameis Winston having some fun on the football field. And during today’s training camp practice, the Saints’ quarterback did just that.
While the rest of the team stretched to get loose for practice, Winston loosened up with with some dance moves.
Here’s a clip seventh-year QB’s pre-practice antics:

Winston’s big-time personality fits perfectly with his former all-or-nothing play style. As a starter for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019, the former No. 1 overall pick led the league in passing yards with 5,109 — but also in interceptions with 30.
After joining the Saints as a backup to all-time great quarterback Drew Brees in 2020, Winston said he’s learned to temper this desire to always go for the big-time play.
When Brees was ruled out for four games last year with a ribcage injury, many believed Winston would take over the reigns. Instead, his fellow backup quarterback Taysom Hill took QB1 responsibilities. Now, these two quarterbacks find themselves in a full-fledged QB battle following Brees’ retirement earlier this offseason.
As the No. 1 overall pick in 2015, Winston was thrown into the NFL deep end as a rookie starter in Tampa Bay. Maybe one year on the sidelines behind a QB vet was just what he needed to get back on track heading into the 2021 season.
