It’s hard to get into the headspace of a player who just lost the Super Bowl, let alone the starting quarterback for one. In the case of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, he found a unique way to cope with yesterday’s loss.
On Monday, TMZ Sports released a video of Burrow showing up to a Kid Cudi concert late last night. Burrow has apparently been a Cudi fan for a while, shouting out the Gramming-winning rapper on his birthday a few weeks back.
Burrow even sent Cudi the jersey he wore in the Bengals’ AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs as a gift. And the respect is clearly mutual.
Cudi – an Ohio native – was wearing a Burrow jersey during the performance. So when Burrow showed up to the stage, the quarterback’s somber mood quickly changed.
Burrow was clearly not in the partying mood. But he allowed himself to walk around on the stage in the background for a while as Cudi performed his song.

Joe Burrow struggled to move the ball through the air against the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI.
Burrow was held without a touchdown in the first half and finished the game with 263 yards and one touchdown while completing 66.7-percent of his passes. He was also sacked seven times in that game.
Bengals fans waited over 30 years for a return trip to the Super Bowl. The fear of having to wait such a long time for another one must weigh on them and the team.
But that doesn’t mean Burrow can’t try to find a way to cheer himself up.
