Bo Nix won’t participate in Saturday’s Iron Bowl against Alabama but that’s not stopping the Auburn quarterback from adding some fuel to the rivalry’s fire.
The junior QB appeared on “The Next Round” podcast on Monday, and shared his thoughts on SEC refs after some controversial calls went the Tide’s way against Arkansas.
“Just a few of those obviously controversial calls that were in that game, it raises some questions, for sure, I guess, unless you’re an Alabama fan. That’s just part of the game.” Nix said.

Auburn’s signal-caller continued, “I think, legitimately, you watch the game and anybody who is unbiased would think something is different.”
“It is what it is. It’s kinda how it has always been. It’s part of the game. And they have good players. Can’t take that away from them.”
Best believe Nick Saban will have this one tacked on to the bulletin board in Alabama’s locker room.
The Crimson Tide escaped with a win over No. 21 Arkansas thanks in part to a marvelous performance from sophomore QB Bryce Young.
The Heisman-hopeful finished 31-40 for 559 yards and five touchdowns. Three of which went to Ohio State-transfer Jameson Williams.
Despite some thrilling victories by Auburn, Alabama still maintains a 47-37-1 edge in Iron Bowl history. https://t.co/XN72y2texi

Arkansas put up a tough fight against Alabama but ultimately the Tide outlasted the Razorbacks and secured an SEC West title.
Now Alabama sets its site on in-state rival Auburn for another chapter in the storied Iron Bowl rivalry. Nix will sit this one out after a season-ending ankle injury.
He’ll have to hope he’s not writing checks his Auburn teammates can’t cash.
