The Washington Football Team returned to practice fields in Ashburn on Monday for their 11th day of training camp practice.
This week is different. It’s finally game week for Washington, and, as head coach Ron Rivera noted in his press conference after practice, there was a sense of urgency on the field Monday.
“We want to make sure the guys understand the sense of urgency, the importance of it, and how things are changing,” Rivera said to reporters via Zach Selby of washingtonfootball.com. “And you’re right; we were a little ramped up today.”
Washington is set to open the preseason on Thursday evening against the New England Patriots.
