The Washington Football Team was back at FedEx Field on Friday night. This time, it was just a practice. However, 20,000 loyal Washington fans greeted the Football Team for a practice dubbed “Friday Night Football.”
It was a fun night for Washington. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick wasted no time chucking it down the field to wide receiver Terry McLaurin for a big play.
Rookie receivers Dyami Brown and Dax Milne also stood out on Friday night.
With players practicing in front of fans again, the energy was just different — in a good way. After practice, head coach Ron Rivera said that some of the rookies from smaller schools noted how there were a lot of people.
