It was a tale of two halves for the Washington Football Team’s offense in Sunday’s 20-16 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Washington’s opening drive was flawless, as it drove 67 yards on just six players, ending with a Jaret Patterson 11-yard touchdown run. Quarterback Taylor Heinicke completed all three of his passing attempts on the drive for 50 yards.
Washington would go on to score on all four of its first-half possessions, but unfortunately, three of those possessions ended with a field goal, and Washington went into halftime with a 16-7 lead.
Much like the first meeting, the Eagles dominated the second half, outscoring Washington 13-0 in the final two quarters to all but lock up a playoff berth with the win.
Here are Washington’s studs and duds from its latest loss.
