The Washington Football Team won their second consecutive game on Sunday with a 27-21 win over the Carolina Panthers.
While much of the talk centered on head coach Ron Rivera’s return to Charlotte and Cam Newton’s first start for the Panthers since 2019, it was quarterback Taylor Heinicke’s return that proved to be the difference-maker.
Heinicke completed 16 of 22 passes for 203 yards, with three touchdowns. Heinicke also picked up some big first downs with his legs. And, for the second straight week, he was the best quarterback on the field. Think about that for a minute.
Washington improves to 4-6 and faces the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football in Week 12.
Now, here are the studs and duds from Washington’s big win over the Panthers.
