ESPN host Mike Greenberg revealed his bold “sleeper” team prediction for the upcoming NFL season earlier this week.
Greenberg likes the Washington Football Team.
“The NFL gets so much attention all year round that it’s hard to imagine it could ever have a secret as well kept as the Washington Football Team is heading into this year,” he said.
“The formula is there and it’s proven.”
Greenberg isn’t the only one with a sleeper team, though.
CBS NFL analyst Tony Romo believes there’s an AFC team that “no one” is going to want to play this season. The team isn’t getting a ton of preseason hype, although Romo believes thing could change quickly in that department.
“I’m convinced the Patriots are for real. No one’s gonna want to play them,” Romo said on a teleconference call earlier this week.

Romo is understandably high on Bill Belichick. It remains to be seen if Belichick can make a deep run without Tom Brady, though.
New England will open the 2021 season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the Miami Dolphins.
Kickoff for that game is set for 4:25 p.m. E.T.
