Jeudy went down in the third quarter of today’s win over the New York Giants with what looked like an ugly and graphic injury. The 2020 first-round pick wound up being carted to the locker room.
Fortunately for Jeudy and the Broncos, it seems the former Alabama star avoided the worst-case scenario. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Jeudy suffered a high-ankle sprain.
Replays of the injury (don’t look if you’re squeamish) seemed to indicate it was a fracture or dislocation injury, so this is good news.

Jeudy was having a strong day before getting hurt. He recorded six receptions for 72 yards in two-plus quarters of play.
While Denver will be without Jeudy for a while as he heals, they do have a well-stocked receiving corps, which includes KJ Hamler, Tim Patrick and Courtland Sutton.
Led by a stout defense and an efficient game from Teddy Bridgewater (28-of-36, 255 yards and two touchdowns), the Broncos moved to 1-0 with a 27-13 win over the Giants in New Jersey. They’ll look to move to 2-0 against the Jacksonville Jaguars next weekend.
