Today’s DMV forecast is a rough one, so stay safe out there friends!
Good morning! I fell asleep at 12:30am and woke up at 4, still wearing my slippers and with the lights on, which I do not recommend at all. I’ll be watching this troublesome weather forecast and wondering about whether the road out of my neighborhood will be passable tomorrow, so that’s also not good. On the other hand, I’m gonna have a big breakfast omelet, so it’s not all bad.

‘We will build a better league’: NWSL’s CBA talks take on new sense of urgency | Just Women’s Sports
Plenty of quotes in here from the Washington Spirit’s Tori Huster and Tegan McGrady, plus more on the status of the latest NWSL CBA talks from NWSLPA executive director Meghann Burke.
Match Recap: Gotham FC left frustrated in draw against Racing Louisville | NWSLsoccer.com
Gotham FC’s second straight road draw against a struggling side means that the Spirit have one fewer competitor for 2nd place, and the first-round playoff bye that comes with it. The Spirit still need some massive help (specifically, OL Reign losing at Kansas City tomorrow night) and a win on Halloween, but Racing recovering from a really rocky start to this game was certainly helpful.
