The Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans could pull off a trade together involving cornerback LJarius Sneed this 2025 regular season. According to an earlier source, one report suggested that the Chargers should get Sneed in a trade to salvage the secondary room. While it makes sense to add some firepower in the cornerback unit, they’re developing a true frontrunner between Donte Jackson, Cam Hart, Tarheeb Still and Ja’Sir Taylor. What’s interesting is that the Chargers had an impressive secondary performance last year, even though the source claims otherwise.
Overall, the Sneed trade to a new team would make sense for the Titans themselves since they’re looking to be in transition and could recoup some draft capital to supplement their quarterback, Cam Ward. Sneed hasn’t been looking like himself since leaving the Kansas City Chiefs in a trade before the 2024 regular season, so he could use the scenery change. Originally selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the former Louisiana Tech product had an enormous campaign with the Chiefs, winning two Super Bowls and becoming one of the most versatile cornerbacks in the league. The Chargers might not need Sneed since they have a deep cornerback group, but if they find themselves needing the depth, he could slide in Hart’s spot to give Jackson some bolstering on at least one side.

Chargers, Titans Could Agree On Massive LJarius Sneed Trade? – 3 Other Potential Suitors
Possible Fits
Dallas Cowboys
Since DaRon Bland will miss some time due to a brutal injury, the Dallas Cowboys will have to rely on depth again this season. It’s a huge blow for the team as they were looking forward to seeing some improvement here after granting him a new contract extension. While they have Kaiir Elam and Robert Rochell, the Cowboys are going to get their safeties in motion, which wouldn’t make sense as they’d be better off getting a true cornerback, who can make an impact. Trevon Diggs is coming off a season-ending injury himself, so they can’t really lean on him too much, as he can only do so much out there.
If they continue to struggle in this unit, they should snag Sneed in a possible trade, which would give the Cowboys an explosive cornerback who could change things around.
Baltimore Ravens
Meanwhile, this wouldn’t be a surprise trade from the Baltimore Ravens. While they’re rivals with the Chiefs, they might be willing to get the former Chief in Baltimore. It would be a huge middle finger to Kansas City, but it would give the Ravens the upper hand here. Between Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins, Jaire Alexander, and Sneed’s addition to the squad over Chidobe Awuzie would be like icing on the cake.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers made some improvements in their secondary, signing Tre’Von Moehrig to upgrade the safety unit. However, they must find some type of depth for Michael Jackson and Jaycee Horn. Sneed is more of a starter than he is a backup, so maybe he can take Jackson’s spot or earn it, so he could help Horn and form one of the most ferocious units in the league.
