This is a Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps’ related news.
Maryland gymnastics is headed to University Park, Pennsylvania, for the NCAA Regionals on April 2, it was announced in a release Monday. Maryland has now qualified for the last seven regionals.
The Terps will compete in the first round against West Virginia. If they proceed to second-round action, they will face off against seven other teams: No. 8-seed Michigan State, No. 9-seed Kentucky, Ohio state, Penn State, No. 1-seed LSU, No. 16-seed Arkansas and Michigan.
The regional final will be contested for by the top four programs. The action will begin at 2 p.m. and can be streamed on ESPN Plus.
