Report: Ravens All-Pro Still Receiving “Trade Interest” – Who Will Make An Offer?

June 21, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

After rumors of speculation all offseason, the Baltimore Ravens’ All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews is still receiving trade interest this offseason. According to a source, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media mentions that teams have been contacting the Ravens to check on the availability of Andrews. However, the Ravens are not in the position to send the tight end anymore after there have been doubts that he would be suiting up in the Ravens uniform this upcoming 2025 campaign. Originally selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the former Oklahoma product is coming off one of his worst seasons in Baltimore, but still had a career-high of 11 receiving touchdowns that came with just 55 receptions for 673 yards.

While it seems like the confidence is still there for Andrews from the votes of quarterback Lamar Jackson and head coach John Harbaugh, it hasn’t been consistent with General Manager Eric DeCosta. Earlier this offseason, he wasn’t entirely sure about the future of the veteran and whether he would be part of the roster, but he quickly clarified the situation and now says he’s part of the team. This might be something to watch for through the rest of the offseason, if they continue to get interest, and once they receive an offer, the Ravens might be willing to trade Andrews away if it meant more snaps for him, since most of them go to the emerging Isaiah Likely anyway. Andrews is entering the final year of his contract, and these two teams could be the highest bidders this upcoming season.

Report: Ravens All-Pro Mark Andrews Still Receiving “Trade Interest” – Commanders, Panthers Top Fits

Championship Weapons for Daniels

Following a marvelous campaign in Washington, the Commanders now have new leadership under quarterback Jayden Daniels and head coach Dan Quinn that will probably last at least a decade. The team continued to add more passing attack this offseason after trading for Deebo Samuel and bringing Michael Gallup out of retirement. Even though they’re also bringing back Zach Ertz for at least one more season, they could continue to bolster the tight end unit to provide some relief for Ertz. Andrews is probably no longer a starter in this league anymore, and it might be helpful to pair with one of the most dangerous tight ends in the NFC, since both of these athletes pairing up would be a problem for opposing defenses this upcoming season.

Daniels thrives throwing the football when slinging it to his tight ends, and Andrews teaming with Ertz sounds like a total nightmare for any defense that wants to contain both of them. The Commanders don’t need another pass-catcher, but it would solidify their chances of a Super Bowl appearance.

More Life in Carolina

Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers will probably endure one of the best seasons this upcoming campaign. Following the end of their 2024 season, there was a lot of promise shown by quarterback Bryce Young and him throwing it to his targets in the likes of rookies Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker. However, the Panthers must provide Young with some experienced pass-catchers, and Andrews would be the perfect fit. After suffering an injury, Tommy Tremble might be rusty, and they can’t easily depend on Ja’Tavion Sanders, who is still developing, so Andrews could probably turn this offense into a potential wild-card team.
